WILDERNESS & SOLITUDE
On a wilderness quest for a lost child, search and rescue coordinator Dylan Stoke is forced down a perilous trail of dark secrets, betrayal, and savage murder, all leading to a desperate showdown with his past.
“Primal longing is often conceived in the cage of civilization, where the danger of the wilderness can lay shrouded by a puerile enthusiasm to escape and melt into solitude.”
– Steve Dunn
The number of people that get lost each year while enjoying outdoor activities, is over two thousand. Out of that number, 80% are found by volunteer search and rescue teams. If you want to learn more about how you can support their efforts, please call your local county sheriff’s office and ask them how you can help.
“Every day, I feel blessed and grateful for the rich life experiences I’ve been afforded. I love people and every little thing that makes us unique. I embrace diversity, wholeheartedly. As a writer, it is my hope that you experience some of the passion I carry for America’s wildlands, and that you develop a better understanding of the Search and Rescue community.”
